QUICK ANSWER

How does game sensitivity conversion work?

New sensitivity = (source yaw × source sensitivity × source DPI) ÷ (target yaw × target DPI). The yaw model uses sensitivity as entered in each game; for Fortnite, 10 means 10%, not 0.10. The result preserves modeled cm/360, not necessarily FOV or scoped feel.

Example: Valorant to CS2

At 800 DPI, Valorant 0.32 converts to approximately CS2 1.01818. The calculation uses Valorant yaw 0.07 and CS2 yaw 0.022. Both settings model about 51.03 cm per 360°.

Why physical turn distance matters

eDPI values are game-specific. Two different games can display very different eDPI even when they require the same hand movement for a full turn. Matching cm/360 is a more useful baseline for cross-game conversions.

ADS, sniper scopes, field of view, acceleration, game-specific scaling and input options may prevent an exact subjective match. Test the result in game.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert Valorant sensitivity to CS2?

At the same DPI, multiply Valorant sensitivity by 0.07 / 0.022, approximately 3.1818, for the modeled base mouse-look turn distance.

Can I change DPI during conversion?

Yes. Enter the source and target DPI separately. The converter adjusts the target sensitivity to preserve turn distance.

Will ADS sensitivity stay the same?

No. This tool converts basic hip-fire mouse look; it does not apply game-specific ADS or scope multipliers.
