Worked example at 800 DPI
800 DPI × 0.32 = 256 eDPI. On the modeled base mouse-look settings, moving the mouse about 51.03 cm causes a complete 360° turn. This is an estimate based on the yaw constant, not a guarantee for every device or game mode.
How Valorant sensitivity works
Valorant uses a decimal sensitivity. Compare eDPI with other Valorant setups; use cm/360 for cross-game comparisons.
Keep eDPI the same when switching DPI
The table below shows sensitivity values that preserve the example eDPI at different mouse DPI settings. When DPI doubles, sensitivity halves.
| Mouse DPI | Sensitivity (decimal) | eDPI | cm/360 estimate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 400 | 0.64000 | 256.00 | 51.03 cm |
| 800 | 0.32000 | 256.00 | 51.03 cm |
| 1600 | 0.16000 | 256.00 | 51.03 cm |
| 3200 | 0.08000 | 256.00 | 51.03 cm |
How to tune it
- Check your mouse's active DPI in the manufacturer software or documentation.
- Enter the in-game base mouse sensitivity, not ADS or scoped sensitivity.
- Measure how far your mouse moves for one full turn and compare it with the modeled cm/360.
- Change only one setting at a time. Lower sensitivity (greater cm/360) needs more mousepad space for big turns.
Model limitations: raw mouse input and an unchanged yaw scale are assumed; display FOV, acceleration, game patches, ADS and independent X/Y settings can affect actual feel.
